Xylooligosaccharides (XOS) are polymers of the sugar xylose. They are used as a prebiotic.
Why XOS?
Bifidobacteria are beneficial for maintaining good health. Species and composition of bifidobacteria are different in different ages. Reduction or disappearance of bifidobacteria can indicate a suboptimal or unhealthy state
Mode of action
They stimulate the “good” bacteria and prohibit the “bad” bacteria. They get fermented into scFA (short chain fatty acids) and provide optimal microbial balance and lowers intestinal pH
XOS belongs to a group of non-digestive oligosaccharides.
The recommended dosage is 0.7-1.4 g/d (Lowest effective dosage: 0.4 g/d).
The decomposition rate of human digestive enzymes is less than 0.4%.
Substantiated by Longlive’s 4 studies and 3 clinical trials

Other benefits:

  • Prevent dental caries
  • Prevent obesity
  • Help biosynthesis of Vitamin B-complex

Xylitol is a sugar alcohol used as a sweetener.
Why Xylitol
  • Soluble in water
  • At a lower temperature, the sweetness is 20-25% higher than sucrose
  • Low moisture sensitivity facilitates preservation of food
  • Xylitol is the sweetest among all the healthy polyols sugars, with sweetness equal to that of sucrose
  • Gives a pleasant cool and fresh sensation owing to its high endothermic heat of solution

L-Arabinose is a zero-calorie, natural sugar substitute.
Why L-Arabinose
  • Ideal for patients with diabetes
  • Low-calorific value
